The Plattsburgh State Gospel Choir Endowment fund was established in 2011 with the purpose of providing opportunities for academic and personal growth through gospel music.

The creation of the Endowment Fund was fueled by the need to enhance the collegiate experience of gospel choir members through scholarships, travel and workshops. Each year, one gospel choir member is selected based on commitment to receive a Freshman Scholarship which provides financial assistance. Past gospel choir tours enriched the family dynamic of choir and exposed members to new cultures. The yearly workshops give participants the opportunity to learn about the history of gospel music and experience it through song.

The endowment continues to grow, allowing the choir to support initiatives on the Plattsburgh campus and in the community. We appreciate those who have contributed and encourage others to support our endeavors.
